For all of you Equipment History Buffs, the Ancaster Fair Heritage Committee is pleased to announce a special exhibit for the 2016 Fair.  Located in the Heritage Square will be honoring the Sawyer-Massey Company, the firm built Steam portables and traction engines initially.  The Massey family took a personnel stake in the company. a long time manufacturer that was located on Wellington and Victoria streets in Hamilton. There will be many pieces of equipment on view including steam engines, threshing machines and road building equipment. There will also be a special tent housing photographs and memorabilia. Included will be a recreation of a 1918 Sawyer-Massey display that was at the Toronto exhibition.

Visitors are welcome and encouraged to bring any memorabilia from the company along with memories of relatives who may have worked there.

Admission to the fair is ten dollars for adults, five for students and pre-schoolers can enter for free. The Ancaster Fair is a wonderful family event. See you at the Fair!
