Since 1850, the AAS has been championing agricultural education and enriching community life in Ancaster and the greater Hamilton area.
More than just the Ancaster Fair.
We’re a volunteer-run organization with a proud history of hosting the annual Ancaster Fair – but it doesn’t stop there!
Our world class facilities offer the perfect setting for agricultural events and more with easy access to parking and a location close to the city.
Through school programming and our annual Summer Camp, we’re dedicated to helping the next generation learn more about where their food comes from.
We’re always looking for volunteers and members to help make our events and The Fair a success.

Sheep, goat, dairy & beef cattle, poultry, rabbit, and numerous horse shows to compete in!
Rides, competitions, animals, a demolition derby – every year thousands of exhibitors, vendors, and fair goers join us at the Ancaster fairgrounds for a weekend of fun.
