Each year the Ancaster Fair hosts all your favourite classic fair competitions.
Hot Sauce Eating Competition
Ready to feel the heat?
Join us at the Main Stage on Saturday September 20 at 3:15pm for our annual Hot Sauce Competition.
Milk provided by Summit Station Dairy.
Water available for those with dairy intolerances/allergies.
Any ticket holder is eligible for entry but there are only 12 spaces available – so sign up fast! No cost to enter!
Registration opens: 2:00pm (at the Mainstage)
Registration Closes: 3:00pm
Competition Begins: 3:15pm at the Mainstage
Duration: runs for 45 minutes

Demolition Derby
The Demolition Derby is a Fair mainstay for a reason!
Think excitement, drama, and NOISE. Each year, teams compete to see which car is the last one standing – but not before rubber is burnt and metal is crushed. It’s a must-see for a full fair experience.
The Ancaster Fair Demolition Derby runs every night of the Fair from Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm.

Pie Eating Contest
Sign up each day of the Fair at the information booth (just past the Gatehouse).
Must be 18 or have a parent or guardian accompany you.

A long-standing tradition of the Ancaster Fair: the Baby Show!
Do you have the cutest baby around? Bring your bundle of joy and compete in a fun, classic fair tradition.
Hosted every year on the Saturday of the Fair weekend.
