Home Alone & Stranger Safety

• The best course to take first!

• Ages 8-11 are welcome, ideally students are mature for their age (especially if under 10)

• Focus is on SELF safety, critical thinking and building confidence

• Stranger Safety, getting home safely, staying productive and home alone house rules

• Internet safety, phone safety and door safety

• Kitchen safety and fire safety, with an emphasis on prevention

• Basic First Aid (for self), knowing when to call 911 or your parents

• The best course to take if unsure (Babysitting is very different, there is little overlap in content)

• Siblings should attend together provided they are all of minimum age, and want to attend
